Aloha Beach
I'm sittin' on a beach somewhere in the hawaiian islands
I never felt so peaceful and free
I'm glad i stopped to take the time to ponder
What i'd find if i looked inside of me
I see everything i've done wrong in life
And now i can see how to make it right
I came here on a whim and i had no plan to start with
I had no clue how to butter my hawaiian sweet bread
I found a hut near the edge of a sparkling lagoon
The sea spray began to resuscitate my head
Every morning, i watch the sun stroll across the sea
Every evening, i watch the moon take charge
Aloha beach has set me free
I'm living in a tropical fantasy
This hawaiian breeze has rescued me
It turns out all i needed to find was aloha beach
The coconut trees shimmer in the presence of a flaming sunset
My hawaiian shirt mirrors the colorful array
I softly strum my ukelele as i write this song
I'm singing to the tiki statue that is wearing my lei
In the distance, i hear a luau in full swing
I can picture the hula dancers with their
Hips a-writhin' and their grass skirts a-flyin'
Their arms a-tellin' the story of the islands
And the native drums are beatin' out the rhythm
And everyone from Kauai to Maui are dancin' ...
With 'em, ooo (with
'em) they got
the rhythm, ooo (rhythm)
They got the rhythm, ooo
(rhythm) they
got the rhythm, ooo (rhythm)
They're singin' with 'em, *you take it* (with
'em) they're singin'
with 'em, *you* (with 'em)
They got the rhythm, ooo
(rhythm) they
got the rhythm, *yah, rhythm!*
This beach has set me free
I'm living in a tropical fantasy
This hawaiian breeze has rescued me
It turns out all i needed to find was aloha ...
Beach beach beach has set me free
I'm living in a tropical fantasy
This hawaiian breeze has rescued me
It turns out all i needed to say . . . was
"Aloha, beach"
