12) Caption reads:  From the extreme point of Goat Island, there is presented to the beholder a striking view of the famous Terrapin Rock and the Horseshoe Fall. A light footbridge leads from Goat Island to the Rock, where in former years, stood a stone tower, but the incessant vibration caused by the falling waters, and the ever-present dampness, eventually rendered it unsafe and it was removed..
