11) Postmarked Jan 23, 1909. Caption reads:  The best example of ante-Revolutionary structures in the United States. Still carries the Lion and the Unicorn, as evidence of its Colonial date. Built in 1748 and often mentioned in Revolutionary annals, it now stands at the head of State Street, in Washington Street, surrounded by the largest and finest examples of Boston's modern business buildings and amid the city's greatest activity.

13) Postmarked Jan 31, 1962. Caption reads:  The Old State House at Washington and State Streets where John Hancock was inaugurated first Governor of Massachusetts and in front of which the Boston Massacre took place is now the home of the Bostonian Society.
