A Study Of . . . Washington NJ / Railroad Station Demolition, Sat, Oct 9, 1982, #019 |
|
Picture this. People came from far and wide to pay homage to the landmark, and they mourned its passing in various ways. Here we see a local woman who came armed with not one, but two cameras. She's taking a picture for herself with her box Brownie, then she'll take a picture with her brother's Kodak folding camera (sitting on the rail), so he'll have a record of the end of an era, since he was out of town at the time of the demolition.
