A Study Of . . . Washington NJ / Railroad Station Demolition, Tue, Oct 12, 1982, #017 |
|
A game of cat and mouse. With its outer skin of sculptured bricks partially peeled away, the station appears to pull back in horror from the shark-toothed jaws of the ruthless wrecking bucket. The bucket, for its part, seems to enjoy its role as terrorizor, especially knowing that, in the end, the building must succumb. (Photo and caption by Thomas Allen Kelley) |
