A Study Of . . . Washington NJ / Railroad Station Demolition, Sat, Oct 9, 1982, #012 |
|
It's after-hours, and the wrecking crew has gone home for the day. The hungry bucket of the demolition crane has been parked in the gaping crevice of what once was the 2nd floor of the station. This floor contained a bunk room (where the bucket sits) and a signal maintainer's office, both of which had been closed for years. The bunk room was used for train crews laying over in Washington.
